Dear Zoho Forms Team,

We are using Zoho Forms on our website and have encountered a technical question related to GDPR compliance.

Currently, we have Google Tag Manager installed, along with a script that tracks UTM parameters and GCLID. To comply with GDPR regulations, we must collect and store user consent for cookies. We have implemented a Cookiebot banner, which saves user preferences in the CookieConsent cookie (a JSON file containing selected categories and the consent ID).

Previously, we used a script to extract this cookie value and populate a hidden field in the form, allowing us to store consent (or refusal) records in our CRM along with form submissions. However, with Zoho Forms, we encountered an issue: it seems that hidden fields do not support being populated via script.

Could you please advise whether this functionality is possible in Zoho Forms? Are there any alternative solutions that would allow us to pass the CookieConsent information along with the form data?

We really appreciate Zoho Forms and would love to continue using them. We would be grateful for your assistance!
