Sharing and Converting Custom Reports Across Departments in Zoho Desk

We initially started using Zoho Desk with a single department (Department "A"), which included multiple teams. Nearly a year later, we identified several limitations that led us to create three additional departments ("B", "C", and "D") with replicated configurations.

While testing, we noticed that custom reports created under Department "A" are not accessible or shared across the newly created departments. While this behavior makes sense in general—due to potential differences in configuration and layout—our setup maintains identical configurations across all departments.

Our needs:

  • We would like to replicate the existing custom reports from Department "A" into Departments "B", "C", and "D", without manually recreating each report.

  • We also require a global view of the ticketing activity, ideally through Global Reports, as we’ve seen that these are designed to consolidate data from multiple departments.

Our questions:

  1. Is it possible to share or duplicate existing custom reports from Department "A" to other departments ("B", "C", and/or "D")?

  2. Is there a way to convert a standard (department-specific) report into a Global Report, without manually recreating it from scratch?
