Timesheet Consolidation

During any given day a user can bounce between multiple projects. At the end of the day, and more likely after a few days I need to be able to update the company timesheet system. It would be nice to be able to either:
1) Preferably - enable the Timesheet to work across all projects that the user is assigned to.
2) Obtain a consolidated report of user timesheet entries for a day (or month).
