Ugh! - Text Box (Single Line) Not Enough - Text Box (Multi-line) Unavailable in PDF!

I provide services, I do not sell items. In each estimate I send I provide a customized job description. A two or three sentence summary of the job to be performed.

I need to be able to include this job description on each estimate I send as it's a critical part of my business. At 255 characters the Text Box (Single Line)  does not allow for this, and the Text Box (Multi-line) is unavailable in the PDF.

It's understandable that there that the Text Box (Multi-line) is unavailable on the PDF at 36,000 characters, but it is unacceptable that there isn't an option between the two that would still fit on the page nicely but is more than 255 characters.

If I only sold widgets, this wouldn't be a problem, but I don't sell widgets, I sell services and those are not easily put into tidy line item boxes like widgets are.

I am not the only person who has had this issue, as seen here and here. Clearly there is a need for an alternative to these two limited options and it has yet to be addressed.
