Hello everyone,
The Community module has undergone a UI revamp to improve user experience. In addition, we have introduced Status Board and Bulk Approval of posts to provide better engagement.
Improved User Interface
The new interface brings the following benefits:
- Accessibility: Improved accessibility to ensure that the agents can navigate the community module at ease.
- Enhanced navigation: Redesigned menus and controls that make it simpler for agents to find what they want.
- Engagement: The improved layout and features encourage agents to explore more, increasing overall interaction with the platform.
Home page
The community home page is updated with elaborate information of the posts.
The following information can be seen for all the posts in the classic view.
- Forum title
- Brief of the content
- Category name
- Agent name
- Agent who responded recently to the post
- When the post was updated
- Number of views, comments, and likes
Detail view
Clicking on a forum post from the home page will redirect to the forum post detail view.
This left pane displays the forum posts available in that specific category.
The right pane provides the detailed information about the post.
The post type, replies received for that post, and the insights received are available in the right pane. The agents can perform actions like Edit, follow, move the topic type, and so on by clicking the
More icon (

)on the top right.
If a post is converted to a ticket, then the ticket Id is displayed in the detail view page.
Editor
The WYSIWYG editor provides more formatting options.
Repositioned recycle bin
Earlier, the Recycle Bin was placed under Moderation, it is now a standalone option in the left panel for easy access.
Status Board
The status board is a kanban view provided for question, idea, and problem.
The posts are categorized under different predefined statuses as mentioned below:

Bulk moderate or approve posts
The waiting for approval and reported spam options have been given an upgrade.
Clicking on a post that is awaiting approval or is marked as spam will provide a quick view of the content, name of the agent who created the post, and the name of the agent who updated it recently.
The moderators can use the Approve All option to select and approve all the posts that are awaiting moderation.
