Webpage background changes when I embed a document?

Webpage background changes when I embed a document?

I have had a document on my webpage for over a year with no issues.  I updated to the new writer, and now my background on the webpage seems to be following the embed code rather than the header code of the html page?  I am embedding the file into a table.... so I thought that would do it.  But no luck?   Any ideas?
