What's New in Zoho Subscriptions - August 2023

Hello everyone,

We are delighted to present this month's updates, which include a series of highly requested features such as additional payment modes, support for regional languages, and improved tax-handling for the Australia edition.

Updated payment modes for PayPal

This update replaces the existing PayPal integration with the latest version of PayPal.

Your customers from the US can now pay using Venmo and Buy Now Pay Later (subject to account eligibility).

This update is available in the Global, US, UK, Canada, Australia and India editions of Zoho Subscriptions.

3 new payment modes for Stripe

Offer more flexibility by providing a wider range of payment modes to your customers:
  • Giropay
  • Bancontact
  • SOFORT
Giropay is supported in Germany and Bancontact is supported in Belgium. SOFORT is supported in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Spain.

You can configure these from Settings > Online Payments > Stripe Advanced Settings.

Note: SOFORT is a delayed-notification payment method, where payments are processed in 2-14 business days. During this time, the related invoice's status will be displayed as Payment Initiated

Edit HSN code/SAC while creating subscriptions (India Edition)

If you did not add an HSN code/SAC while creating plans or addons, you can easily add or edit them directly while creating subscriptions, instead of adding it in the Products module or editing each invoice.

Experience Zoho Subscriptions in your regional language (Global and India Editions)

You can now use Zoho Subscriptions in more Indian regional languages, namely: Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu. You can change your language from Settings > Organization Profile and select your preferred language from the dropdown.

Verify ABN right from Zoho Subscriptions (Australia Edition)

Previously, when creating customers and entering their ABN, you had to validate it from  an external website. This update allows you to simply click "Verify ABN using ABR" below the ABN number to verify it directly within Zoho Subscriptions using Australian Business Register (ABR), thus saving you time. It also fetches the Entity Name, Date of ABN Registration, Entity Type, GST Registration Date, Business Location, and Business Name.

You can visit our What's New timeline to view a list of all our previous updates.
We'd love to hear what you think about these features in the comments below. If you require any assistance, please write to us at support@zohosubscriptions.com–we'd be happy to help!
Best regards,
The Zoho Subscriptions Team
