What's New in Zoho Subscriptions - June 2019

Hello Everyone,

Zoho Subscriptions is feature-packed this June! In the past month, we've worked to provide a better experience while using Zoho Subscriptions for both you and your customers. Here's what's new:

Retain charges for later with Unbilled Charges

You can now retain your customers' subscription related charges instead of invoicing them immediately. The retained charges will be available to review and invoice later. This is applicable for new subscriptions, one-time add-ons and additional charges. Learn more.

Excess Payments for subscriptions with auto-charge

With this update, excess payments that you record for invoices in Zoho Subscriptions will also be applied to subscriptions that are associated with an auto-charge compatible payment method--whereas, previously, excess payments were applied only to online/offline subscriptions without auto-charge and available credit notes.

Introducing the Zoho Subscriptions - Zoho Analytics integration

This integration will make your data from Zoho Subscriptions available in Zoho Analytics, where you can create custom reports with data from multiple sources; leading to deeper insights into your subscription business. These reports can also be shared or embedded in your own website or web app, which makes it ideal for open startups.

Bulk payment for invoices

Your customers can pay for all their outstanding balances in a single payment. Whenever you send them an invoice link, a message at the top of the page will show their total outstanding balance along with an option to pay the total amount.

iDeal support for Stripe

If you've integrated with Stripe, you can use iDeal to collect payments from customers situated in the Netherlands. After enabling this payment method, it will be available for customers whose country is set to Netherlands and currency is set to Euro.

Associate Reporting Tags to drill-down on reports

Your reporting tags from Zoho Books (if integrated) will now be available in Zoho Subscriptions. These reporting tags can be associated with customers, plans and add-ons. For now, you can generate the Sales by Add-on and Sales by Plans reports based on reporting tags. Soon, we'll add the option to customize more reports along with the ability to create reporting tags right from Zoho Subscriptions.

Integrate with PayTabs

PayTabs is a payment gateway that's compatible with 168 currencies and is widely used in GCC countries. It also supports local, GCC-based payment methods such as SADAD, mada, Knet, Oman Net and BENEFIT. The PayTabs integration is currently available in the Saudi Arabia and UAE editions of Zoho Subscriptions.

We'll be back next month with more feature updates, until then, check out our tips and tricks section, where we make posts about solving specific business scenarios.

We'd love to know what you think of the latest features! Have suggestions? Feedback? Sound off in the comments below.

Cheers,
Varun Steven
