What's New in Zoho Subscriptions - October 2020
From sending out automated SMS notifications to staying up-to-date with your subscription metrics on the move, this month's update brings features that can keep both you and your customers notified about activities in Zoho Subscriptions. Let's dive in.
Introducing the Twilio SMS Integration
You can now integrate Zoho Subscriptions with Twilio to send your customers automated SMS notifications about new invoices, payments, and payment reminders. Learn more.
Invoice Attachment Preferences
We've added three new options that give you granular control over PDF attachments for invoices. You can find the following options under Settings > Preferences > Invoice.
- An option to control whether you want to automatically attach an Invoice's PDF to any email notification which has an invoice URL in it. i.e., any email notification template which contains the %InvoiceURL% placeholder.
- An option to attach invoice PDFs to the Payment Initiated email, which is sent to your customer automatically when they've initiated a payment via ACH/Direct Debit payment methods.
- An option to encrypt PDF files. This will prevent the invoice PDF from being edited or converted into another file format, and will apply to all invoice PDFs that are attached to emails.
Razorpay Webhooks (Indian Edition)
The payments that your customers make via the Razorpay integration may not reflect in Zoho Subscriptions sometimes. You can now set up webhooks (won't take longer than 5 minutes) to keep Zoho Subscriptions in sync with Razorpay at all times. Learn more.
Mobile App Updates
Our mobile apps have been receiving a ton of updates lately! The iOS app for Zoho Subscriptions was recently updated with widget support, which lets you check key subscription metrics right from your iOS device's Home Screen. The Android app received an update which sends you business summary notifications every morning, which you can read straight from the notification drawer and dismiss when done. Try these features by downloading the latest version of these apps from the App Store and Google Play.
Let us know what you think about these features in the comments below, we'd love to hear from you. You can also write to us at support@zohosubscriptions.com.
Stay safe and best regards,
The Zoho Subscriptions Team
