Word count, Paper size, Margins

Hello,

Congratulations to the team for this fine tool. I am testing it for personnal and professional writing (I am a jounalist -- don't worry: I'do not write in English ;-)). And already like it very much.

I have a few questions I haven't found answers for :

Each time one hits Ctrl+S for saving, one can see a popup with the words/letters count, that's very cool. But it is an information I'ld really appreciate to see all the time (it's very important in my work). Is it possible to display that in the status/information bar? If not, is it an option you might consider adding ?
Is there a way to see the count without hiting Ctrl+S and therefore creating a new version of the file each time?

I do not really care about 'pages' or 'paper size' while writing (I do count characters ;-)), but it becomes more important when I wish to export the file. The default size of the page seems to be US 'Letter', that's a format one rarely use in France, or in Europe as far as I know. The most common is 'A4'.

Is there any possibility to define the paper size before exporting the file to PDF (even to DOC, OOo formats and RTF) ?
Also, is there a way to define margins when exporting ?
