The record email send feature is a great feature but could be so much better. Here are some things I think would really assist
1. Merge fields to be dynamic e,g to show content as opposed to the merge tag. This would be useful as sometimes I can forget what record the email message relates to. This is particularly the case for long emails where I switch screens etc.
2. Drag and drop attachments. It is a real pain using the attach dialog boxes
3. Record level "filters" as to which incoming and outgoing mail will be displayed in the record history. For example, if I only want to see emails from a customer which matches the potentials autonumber - the filter would be set to seek a match
