Accessing remoting view of work pc rather than actual view
Hi, I'm looking for a solution. I have staff working at home remoting into their work pc's and I have zoho assist deployed to these machines. Is there a way I can use zoho assist to remote into the remoting session? Currently when I remote into the work pc's I can not see what my staff see. I am only looking at what I would see if I went into the office and switched on the work monitor. Thanks

Hi Zoho Assist Team, We have just been trying out Zoho Assist but whilst trying to initiate a session, I received the following message "Failed to join session due to the following reasons: The system cannot find the file specified". Unattended Access not working
When trying to connect to any server using Unattended Access the screen stays on Please wait Starting Support Session It never goes any further. As we support multiple Schools, during the Covid-19 crisis this is a complete disaster. Please advise asap Thank you

Customer Plugin
Hello Am I correct in thinking my customers can install the plugin as per screen shot and I then give them a session ID to access there computer. I have tried it a few times with no luck. They get a message to check the ID is correct.
Full File Browser Functionality
Right now users can select a specific file to transfer across. It works fine for single files. For more complex tasks it would be extremely helpful to have a view that showed a full file browser of both the local machine and remote machine side by side and let you browse and select files & folder to copy across. This is the one feature that keeps us from moving fully from Logmein Rescue for unattended access, and we hope this feature it's coming.
Download Button in Internet Explorer
My team and I are noticing that users accessing through Internet Explorer cannot download the application. They click the download button but nothing happens. I have tested it myself as well.
Can access remote Windows Machine from Mac running macOS 10.15.4.
Installed the system update to macOS 10.15.4 yesterday. Now I can't access my remote Windows computer. The remote screen appears, but no controls (the 2 side panels) appear and no mouse or keyboard input does anything.
Start Now - Starting Support Session
When clicking on "Start Now" it constantly loops through "Starting Support Session". At no point does it connect or allow customers to join the session.
Unattended Access not working
Click on Connect and it comes up with Please wait Starting Support Session Trouble is, it never goes any further. Same issue on multiple sites. With the Covid-19 crisis this is disasterous and I would have expected Zoho to have some sort of acknowledgement of the issue on their website. Unfortunately i cannot see any reference other than on this forum.
Zoho Assist Down For Hours
Zoho realizes that Assist has been down for hours, despite their Twitter account insisting to everyone that it's working?

HTTP ERROR 400 I made some tests like try to connect in another site, reboot the PC e some others troubleshootings. Grant Access to 1 machine for 2 users
We have an issue where 2 ZoHo Assist users need access to the same PC for a duration of time. (One user is training the other and both will need access to the one PC) In installing the free version, it wouldn't allow 2 users to have access to the same PC. Is there a way around that? I had to say it was OK for the installer to replace to prior person's email/account for the new person. Thank you

Users are experiencing a problem with the Unattended Access services in Zoho Assist

The Remote Support services are up and accessible all across the globe, while we have an intermittent network issue with our primary Service Provider for Unattended Access. Cannot Log ing
I can't log in to my devices and I can't get in touch with technical support. Please let me know if this is going to be the norm. We work remotely and can't access the system for hours. Cheaper Plans
I am sure this has been mentioned before but i wish there were a few more plan options. IM just a home user interested in unattended access and i dont need 25 computers. I wish there was a $50 a year plan option that i would be able to justify. While the free plan does work for me there are some feature (like file transfer) that are really needed for myself. Thing is, $100 a year isnt really unreasonable but i only have 3 computers and i just cant justify that cost. I could justify about half that
Setting up Security and Compliance
Hi, When I got to the Settings -> Security & Compliance, I try to edit the Data Protection -> Confirmation Prompt settings, however when I click on the gear highlighted for any of the options such as the "File Transfer", it just takes me back to the top of the general settings page.
Zoho freezing immediately after connecting to clients
Not sure why...but Zoho Assist is freezing immediately after connecting to clients. It seems to only happen to clients that are on a WiFi connection at their office. The wired PCs connect and do not freeze. UPDATE:: I closed all browser windows with Zoho and cleared my browser cache and that seems to have taken care of it. Strange that it only affected laptops on WiFi and strange that my cache would affect that at all.

Hi, I'm looking to have a downloadable file for customers to use when going to my website, and they would click on a link which would then download a file. They open the file which gives me a one-time access screenshare with their computer. I see that you have this for the unattended installer, but where can I get this for the one-time session? I'm using the Zoho Assistant Standard Edition. I like it so much. Introducing my friends. However, I have a problem with keyboard usage. I can pressing ALT GR + 4 type $ but this shortcut is does not work. Instead, the file menu opens in the application (File>Open....). I need to use alternative methot CTRL + ALT + 4 to type $ in the application. This technique is quite difficult for a staff member and disrupts habits. Free forever plan - number of technician installations?
I've decided to try Zoho Assist since other vendors offering similar services have issues when it comes to trusting that users truly are practicing personal use. With the Zoho Assist free plan, this shouldn't be a problem anymore. So, my basic setup is the need to remotely manage the number of computers that is well within the scope of the free plan (5 unattended computers). I know that there is only 1 technician possible in the free plan. My question is; is it possible to have multiple installations
Unattended Access on Linux = Grey/Black Screen
Hi Guys I am currently trialling ZohoAssist to provide remote support and remote user access to some of our office based PCs. Half of our workforce use Fedora Linux, and though I have succeeded installing the Linux ZohoAssist agent, and confirmed that the service is active, I am having difficulties. Assist - ActiveX Window
It would be nice to see the name of the connect device somewhere. Currently, the only place to see the name is in the taskbar when hovering over the assist application. It would also be nice to have to option to have the Assist window resize to the remote screen resolution or to be full (which is the current behavior) Even though there is an option to keep the toolbar always visible, there is no way to hide it. It's always visible regardless of the setting.
GPO Deploy - Step 4 instructions are wrong
4. In start-up properties, choose "Add in Scripts" tab browse to choose the ZohoAssistStartupScript.zip file and apply. This needs to be corrected. Should be, choose "Add" in scripts tab, browse to network share location where the startup scripts are stored, select ZohoAssistSetup.bat, click OK, click OK to save the Startup Scripts Properties.
Extension for GPO deployment file ZohoAssistStartupScript.zip
It's not a big deal but at the same time it should be a quick fix. I used the link to download the "ZohoAssistStartupScript.zip" from the GPO deployment page but the file is downloaded and saved as "ZohoAssistStartupScript_Support" without the .zip extension, so whatever application is registered to handle .zip files is not associated with it and causes the application selection window to open asking for the application that should be used to open the file.
Allow file transfer window column sorting
It would be nice to be able to sort in the file list window. I wanted to sort by modification date and was surprised that you can't sort by any of the columns.
Can we add a meaningful note or name (like devices) to a temporary remote session that is visible in top left screen? You currently have this function for unattended access screen.
Like to use a custom entry like "Devices" in unattended access. Temporary sessions do not have custom or remote session screen just has number - would like to be able to name it something meaningful when we have multiple screen open and need to know who we are talking to.
Blank screen on an Ubuntu client prior to logon.
Connecting to an Ubuntu 19.10, all I get is a blank screen (in Zoho). Once I log in to the system, I am then able to see the remote desktop. I am currently using GDM/Gnome.

I wonder also if the free version includes unattended access, the two webs above seem to contradict themselves. Is there a free version? Any help much welcome
Error when trying to download unattended agent.
Good day, We are attempting to download the Unattended agent from our portal and we get the following message. {"error":{"code":1022,"message":"User Action not allowed"}} Also, to go along with another error I saw in another thread, we are also getting the issue where the proxy is being requested. Lastly, we get a message that the server is acknowledging the request, but refusing it if we use a copy of ZA_Access_Support.exe for unattended access that we have downloaded previously. Hi guys, Having a couple issues: 1. {"error":{"code":1022,"message":"User Action not allowed"}} appears when attempting to download unattended installer when clicking on the download link. It also appears when clicking COPY for a weblink. This account is the OWNER. 2. I have tried to change owner to another member and it says its "successful". However, no changes are actually made and this account is apparently still the owner.

Slow File Transfer
I purchased Zoho Assist to further evaluate the product. When I send a file to a client PC the speed maxes out at 6 Mbps. On the same PC's and the with same file using Splashtop I get 60+ Mbps. I have 1 Gig fiber and the client has 200 Mbps download speed. I tried at different times and made sure the client network was idle. Is this normal?
Unattended Access Installer Suddenly Requiring Proxy Settings
Hello, We have been using Zoho Assist and the unattended access portion for some time now. We have a giant list of computers that we unattended access to and have never run into this issue before. Whenever we try to install the unattended access, it refuses and asks for proxy settings. I read that it is supposed to, on its on, grab the correct proxy settings from the browser. However, it does not seem to be doing that now. Any reason why? Thanks!
