Problem Configuring WebData
I am trying to import data from the following HTML page: http://www.tiaa-cref.org/public/performance/retirement/index.html But when I select all tables I get the error "Problem configuring WebData" The website I pull this from recently made some changes which broke the original link I had, ( which worked), and now that I've updated the link, it generates the error. I can import other webdata fine. This sheet is shared already if you want to take a look (re: the error 500 thread). Thanks, Robert
Shared r/w sheet can not be opened
For the last week or so I have not been able to open a read/write sheet shared with me. It was working well, but now when I try to open the sheet, it seems to freeze. I can see it, but the message box Loading Battle Nominees..... doesn't go away. Interesting note, though, when I export the sheet that works and allows me to see the sheet on my machine in xls. Problem with refreshing stock quotes
When I use =STOCK("AAN","PRICE") for example to get a price quote to my sheet, I am not seeing it be updated after the first time. What or how do I allow it to refresh regularly?

Row heights
I am trying to alter (reduce) row heights, but every time I input a new height it jumps back to the previous height which I am trying to reduce. How do I alter row heights to the figure I want? Many thanks
Macros View shows blank
Whenever I try to write a macro, or record and then edit, the editor screen shows nothing under macros. The macros I recorded will run, but I cannot edit them, or create a macro in editor. Any ideas? fgtrent

How do you move cells
I have a spreadsheet here and i was wondering how to move cells. Ex: say i have in cells A1, B1, and C1 "4, 6, and 8" respectively. How do you select these cells and move them to, say, D4,E4, and F4?
Link to external data
If i use link to external data 2+ times in a column(s) (one starts in the cell after the previous one ends), and the website w/ the external data updates it to add one row or more, will the other ones below it get bumped down automatically? if not, is there an easy way to fix this so taht they will show properly? Edit: I was actually wondering if cells that are linked to the external data would get updated to new positions when new data is added. Ex: external data goes from A2:A9 and cell B3 is "=A5".
How to save a file white a especified name?
My problem is: I've opened a file, from my server, AND I've set the filename to Nome.xls (example). when I save the file in Sheet Editor, the generated file is a randon name, like 1266599308448_12001000006853433.xls But I need to save the file with the especified filename. Everytime that I click in the SAVE BUTTON, another file is generated, and I need to update the opened file, for example. How to solve it?

Hello, I have a web page for the lab of my company. Of course this runs in the intranet so I need this application to run locally. I have been googleing the internet and found ZOHO. I have been navigating in the forum for similar questions and the most recent I found was from 2008. By that time it seems there was no option to do so. At this time, can Zoho run standalone? Not really unlimited users as you advertise!
It says that a FREE account has unlimited users but this isn't true. I tried to sign up more then 20 users for my spreadsheet and I am unable to do so. What do you mean by unlimited? Am i doing something wrong? PLEASE advise thanks
Error 500: Internal Server Error - Sheet
I can't save anything in sheet once I enter a formula. Just copy/pasted a bunch of data (numbers only) and saved no problem. Is there a fix for this? Thanks! ZOHO is the Bomb! Paul
Field Names on Pivot Chart
Is there a way to hide all the field names on the left and bottom? Being able to name them would be better.
Show Only Reports
I need a way to show only the pivot tables, reports, etc when I publish to my web page. Right now all the tabs/sheets can be seen including the raw data. Is there a solution for this? Can I have one spreadsheet file with the raw data and link to another to create the pivot tables, reports, etc for publishing? Thanks for the help.
PUBLIC SHEET
I have linked a sheet to a page of a website I maintain. But anybody can edit my sheet as far as I can see and everybody sees all the menu functions. How do I prevent anybody but me being able to edit my sheet? Urgent please! Thanks for a speedy reply!
Referencing cells from different files (INDIRECT)
Hey, Is there a possibility to reference cells from different files? Let's assume that I have files file1 and file2. On file1 there are cell A1 with number 1 on it. And the same goes for file2 except that the cell A1 contains 2. Your function reference says something about indirect referencing of other files with INDIRECT-function. However when I try to use for example a function "=INDIRECT("file2.Sheet1"&A1)" on some cell in file1 I got the error message #invalid formula!. The intuitive way of "=file2.Sheet1.A1
Bug : changes not saved consistently.
When I make edits to a sheet I have emailed to myself from the emailed link, even if I've specified read/write permissions when emailing, I often don't see my changes applied when I log in to access my sheet. I have to log in to make sure my changes hold. This means I can't bookmark. Firefox 2.0 on Win XP Pro.
Rows get mis-aligned in Zoho Sheet
I find that often rows get mis-aligned in Zoho Sheet as per the screenshot I've uploaded to the link below. https://anroy.wiki.zoho.com/Cell-Misalignment.html This makes Zoho Sheet very difficult to use and is the main reason I have not yet been able to adopt it for our spreadsheet needs. I can't delete a sheet
I see there the issue came up a few months ago, but maybe it is unresolved. For the life of me, I cannot delete sheets in either IE or FF. I realize right-click is a browser object menu, but there appears to be no menu select equivalent...I just can't delete sheets ?????!!!

Hi, I would like to read updated stock option quotes into Sheet. I recall that this used to be possible. However, recently a new format has been instituted for stock option quotes. For example, the symbol for the Apple April 200 Call is now: APV100417C00200000. I tried entering: =STOCK("APV100417C00200000") but it didn't work. It sent the message "Unable to Fetch". I have listed in Sheet the products that I sell on my website. The style #'s are in the A1, A5, etc. cells, sizes to the right, colors below, in-stock quantities fill in the matrix. I leave a blank row between each matrix. I have a tabbed sheet for each manufacturer. I sell from about 6 to about 30 items per manufacturer. So some of the lists down a sheet are long. I am using Pulish This Range to embed a link to Sheet for each product so my customers will know what is in stock for that product
Deleted Information from Sheet showing up in search?
Question about best practices. I have multiple sheets that I use as templates. I open the sheet, copy it, and then fill in only the changes I want to make before I resave the new sheet. Trouble is it seems that the deleted information shows up in the search.

Hi, I know there must be some way of doing this, but we are 4 guys, 3 of which have IT-jobs, and none of us can figure out how to format numbers/decimals. (or any other type, but numbers give us the most problems). Hello, Thank you for the last information as it almost completely resolved my issues. There is one thing that can make processing my information easier and that is if I could make a whole number derived from more than 1 other cell be displayed as 98.0 rather than 98. Right now I have it worded as Round(Sum(R1/6+S1):1) and most numbers come out as 93.4, 91.5 etc. but other numbers come out as 98. If I could force all sums to be displayed with 1 decimal even if that decimal was 0 it would make this

Trying to link and regularly updated spreadsheet from excel onto Zoho sheets
Hi, I have an excel spreadsheet that has a constantly updated tally. The actual numbers in this tally are actually linked/uploaded from another, more secure excel file that I cannot upload to Zoho.
