Text Box in Writer
Hi, how can a text box in Writer be positioned? I've added one to a template I'm creating but there seems no way to control where it goes. If I drag it to the right it either overshoots or springs back to its original position when I let go. Thanks
keeping the alphabetical sorting
Hello, I'm using a lot writer, and when I am in the documents (https://writer.zoho.eu/documents), I can sort alphabetically, but when I come back, it's always the last opened. Is it possible to keep the one I want? It's silly, but at the end time consuming.

Master Documents
I don't like excessive scrolling, it would be great if writer would allow for master documents so I can keep my chapters on separate documents and still be able to follow a sequence through a master. Similar to what MS word does.
Checkbox integration with Forms & Writer
I've created a form in Zoho Forms and the corresponding document in Writer and I've linked all the fields but I cannot get the checkboxes to link. What am I doing wrong or is there another way? If I tick the checkbox while filling in the form it does not tick the checkbox in the Writer document. Thanks in advance
Adding comments to Document templates
I would like to ask for a feature request which can be useful for the blog post templates. I've created a template with subheadings that is required for blog posts. (For E.g. Spell check in Writer is not checking according set language
Hi, I am trying to work on a dutch document, set the language checker to "Nederlands" (it is Ducth for saying Dutch ;) ). But still the whole doucment shows up RED. Followed the instruction as described: https://www.zoho.com.cn/docs/writer/help/document-proofing.html Didn;t help. Even closing the Tab and reopen again, didn't help. The status bar down left corner is saying "Nederlands" . But if i click on one of the red marked words I only get English suggestions poped up.
Zoho Writer and Zoho CRM Integration
Novice user here. With the help of Zoho team we created a button in our custom module that with the click of the button, it will create & email pdf of a prep sheet document from the various fields/values in our CRM. At the suggestion of Zoho, I've made the document in Zoho Writer where it's mapped a ton of fields from Zoho CRM. I've gotten the Deluge code to work, however if a variable''s value is blank in CRM , function will either throw an error or still create/email the the Mail Merge doc
Import CRM Vendor Module for Mail Merge
Hello, It seems I cannot import the vendor module field for a merge document? Is there a way to turn this on? I have the ability to import my custom module fields, but not standard built-in CRM modules like Vendors. Am I missing something? Thank you very much for your assistance!
Open Workdrive sync'd files in Windows app
Hi.... As you can see from the posts I have time today :) Just an idea.... right now when I double click on a Writer file on my local hard drive (sync'd from Workdrive) it opens in the browser... maybe a way to chose to open these files within the Windows app? Just an idea. Best regards Jon

Hello there, I'm a content writer and I like to write my articles on Zoho first after which I copy and paste it to on my WordPress website. MS Word outline format?
I use Word's Outline formatting extensively, and I've been searching for an online app that preserves this function. Zoho comes close -- at least it preserves the actual shape of the file, but not the outlining functions. (Microsoft's online operation doesn't even do that.) Merge Fields - One at a time....
We are looking at using writer for preparing proposals. We want to create a template that uses the same merge fields throughout the proposal template (for instance, company) When an employee creates a new proposal from the template.. they will manually enter the company name once, and it populates all of the merge fields... I can't figure out how to do this without linking to a data source... can't I just manually update the value of the merge field?
Cannot edit document on Zoho Docs Android
Hello, I'm most impressed with your product. However, I am not able to edit documents on my Note 2 Android device. The files were uploaded from desktop and converted to Zoho compatible format. Zoho Forms / Document Merge
i have many records or entries on my zoho form. i want to merge these records onto the same merged document to create a list from these records. Name 1 Name 2 Name 3 etc is this possible?
ZohoWriter deletes spaces when pasting a document from Microsoft Word.
Everytime I try to paste a 63 page document into ZohoWriter, it deletes random spaces between select words throughout the entire document. An example: Original Text: Sift together the dry ingredients. Cut in the butter until mix resembles bread crumbs rather than flour. Make a hole, pour in milk into center. Mix until liquid is completely mixed in, not until it resembles dough. Mix with be very crumbly. Pour onto a floured surface. Work just until edges no longer look flaky. Indent tops with a thumb

Hi, I am using a Zoho CRM related list in my Zoho Writer template (the Deal's Contact Roles list). I want to dynamically create signature fields for each of the entry in this list. Condition editing
Hello, everyone. I've encountered a problem where Zoho writer doesn't process conditions properly while doing a mail merge. My actions I have checkbox "Light" checked in Zoho CRM Then I create a condition in Zoho writer that: if "Light" is True (checked) show{Symo light} if otherwise show{Symo} That's how it looks in the document And that's how it looks on merge preview: Remember, the checkbox "Light" is checked, therefore it is "True", and because it is "True" it should show "Symo Light" not "Symo".

However, while I can find and replace the text if necessary, specifically I want the replaced version to be a different Format (in bold or italics). Starting Page Numbering
How do I start page number counts starting from the second page? My document needs to have no number on page one and then it should start counting pages on page 2 (which will show as page #1 in the page 2 footer and so on).
Problem opening Writer
When I open Writer, I get a small window with a rolling donut that says "Loading." this goes on for ever. I have to close the browser and reopen the application, and maybe then it will open; maybe I'll just get the "Loading," message again. About 1/2 the time this happens. What's up? Problem with copying text cards with images from Notebook to Writer
Hello, when i copy a text card with images from notebook to writer, they copy as "fit to width" instead of original size, so they get distorted and i need to manually correct them by selecting the image and going to "image->dimensions->original size". If it's one image it is not such a problem, but when there are numerous images (for example a web clip), it becomes impractical to do that for every image.
