A few basic things to make Zoho Projects better
1. When I tried to upload a revision to a PDF file it repeatedly didn't work. The file name was different, could that have been it? Outbound email and other Internet activities were working at that time so it wasn't my connection. Indeed, other aspects of Zoho projects continued to work.
2. It would be great if links added in places like notes opened in a different browser tab. Easy fix, big improvement.
3. It's not apparent to me how to archive things even though there seems to be the facility for it.
4. It would be good if there was an easy way to link documents to notes without having to open it in zoho sheet and then copy the URL into the notes. It would be much better to be able to link notes and project items to items in the repository.
5. It's not clear who can see what.
6. It would be good if RSS feeds could be used by contractors on tasks that are assigned to them.
7. It would be great if there was durations of less than a day (which I've mentioned before) and if they were linked to timesheet records. It's very hard to see how much time has been spent on a given task.
8. It's not clear how to modify document notes and tags after it has been created.
I think these improvements would be significant to the utility of the product and could be added without adding any clutter to the UI.
