A visible "non-printing" character is inserted when you add a variable to an email's subject line

When you add a variable to an email's subject line, ZMA adds a space in front of it. This 'space' is meant to be invisible but, in some email clients, a strange symbol can be seen.

If you take a look at screen-1555, you can see the "Dept 1" subject line has that symbol: an A with a caret.

The work-around is to add the variable, then delete the space between the subject line and the variable, then add the space again. That's why there's no strange symbol in the Dept 3 and Dept 3B subject lines.

But could Zoho look into removing the problem please?

Many thanks
