Hi!
I have been developing a course/operations management application for a client. We tested concept in version 4, then switched to version 5 to develop the application. I noticed that while there are many form templates to choose from in version 5 (which is nice), there isn't a way to set a custom form that I develop as a template.
In my client's situation, we are handling course registrations through the application along with other operational functions. I tried creating one 'master' registration form, but after further conversation with my client, they didn't want to go this route. There are a number of variables that exist between contracted courses that require customization of forms each time, to account for the situation of each course sponsor.
In the interest of making this process less time-consuming, it would be extremely helpful to set some custom templates and views according to course type with automation already set, which can then simply be copied (along with the scripting!) to create a new registration later as needed.
This seemed possible in version 4, which is one reason why I decided to develop in Creator and not another platform (among other factors). Now, what I anticipated taking minutes, will take hours. This might just push me into looking for another solution.
