About creating a second page with an already existing name

As far as I see I can create create a second page with a name that already exists. E.g. having a page called "SUMMER" does not prevent me from creating a new page with the same name.

I don't say that this is bad, but it would be useful when in such cases a window would pop up to inform me that a page with this name is already available - combined with the option to choose another page name or to create indeed a second one with the same name.

This feature would be useful in a Wiki with many page names (e.g. a dictionary with one page per word). So I would be prevented from creating by error a new page for a certain word (= dictionary entry) that already has its page.

(Of course alternatively I can take a look at the index to see if it already exists but this method is not very comfortable.)
