Currently the only workaround is to clone an order and manually delete items from each order.

A simple split function would allow users to choose lines or quantities and move them into a new sales order.

Examples:

• Customer wants available stock shipped now and remaining items shipped later
• Different delivery dates
• Different warehouses
• Large orders needing multiple shipments

This is different from a backorder because it is a planned operational decision.
