Advanced Search, how to export the result of the search?

I like the functionalities of the Advanced Search. However, how can I export the result of the search to xls or csv?

I tried;

searched up invoices in a spesific date range,

then I clicked on the icon in the to right corner, and selected "export invoices".

However, the I get a file with ALL invoices, not just the ones I selected in the date range specified in the Advanced Search. Need help on this.
