Allow a start date without an end date...

I would love to have a start date without an end date on many of my projects. Ideally, such projects would then show on the calendar as a bar from their start date to today, on the Gantt chart as a bar from start date to today, and on all reports as projects in progress.

The idea is to show that I have started a project, but it isn't done yet. I still need to save the time I started it though so it shows on calendar and reports as such.
