Approval doesn't work once form is published

Approval doesn't work once form is published

I'm very new to creator this is my first time using it.

I'm trying to create a form for my clients to use to update their contact data and other information, and then upon approval by me or another admin a deluge script runs that pushes the data to zoho.

In the development and stage environment upon submitting the form i get notified for approval.

Once i publish the form and access it in an incognito window, and submit it. I go back to my normal browser and i can see the new records inserted in the stage enviornment reports, but i do not get an approval request email, no alert, or nothing in the pending approvals.
