Are the Integration tasks still using API V2.0?

Are the Integration tasks still using API V2.0?

Are there any plans to update the integration tasks to use the V2.1 API?  I'm assuming it's still on 2.0 since I can't seem to stop the workflows from triggering when adding a record and I haven't needed to bother with the external API yet so I'd rather just keep on using the integration tasks if possible.
