Bigin mobile app update - Android

Hello everyone,

In the Android version of the Bigin mobile app (v1.6.2) we have added support for the following features:

Scribble actions

Keyboard shortcuts

Write anywhere

➤ Scribble actions

With Scribble actions, you can now use stylus gestures to perform actions. Below is a list of actions that can be performed:

Gestures for the Kanban view:

1. Draw check "✔" or cross "✗" marks on the respective task or deal with a stylus to mark them as Closed Won or Closed Lost. Refer to the screenshot depicted below:

2. Also, you can move a deal within the Kanban view to the next or the previous stage by drawing a right/ left arrow mark respectively.

Note:

These action can only be performed within the Kanban view of the pipeline.

The gestures can be accessed only when you have one 'Closed Won' and 'Closed Lost' stages within a pipeline.

Gestures for the List view:

1. Tasks can be marked as Completed or In Progress by using a check "✔" or cross "✗" mark respectively.

Now, haptics is supported for Task Completed/In progress action in both the List view and in the Kanban view.

➤ Keyboard shortcuts

You can now use keyboard shortcuts to switch between the modules for quick navigation within the app.

Shortcuts list:

1. Ctrl + 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 to switch between the respective modules.

2. With Ctrl + F and Ctrl + N, you can access the search bar or create a new record, respectively, within the list view.

3. Switching tabs in the Detail view can now be done using keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + [ or Ctrl + ].

➤ Write Anywhere

This functionality allows you to easily input text within the app using your handwriting. Simply use a stylus to write wherever you need to input text. Please refer to the screenshot depicted below for visual reference:
