Circuits in Zoho CRM

We hope you are all doing well.

We are back with big updates to Circuits in Zoho CRM.

Circuits is now opened to all users in the US, EU, and IN DCs.
We have introduced a credits system for circuits and the Pay-as-you-go model to purchase additional credits.
Circuits will be opened to Zoho One in the coming months. However, for early access Zoho One users, circuits will continue to work.

We all know APIs, Functions, Integration Tasks etc., are metered by a credit system, where each edition of CRM has a set number of credits. Based on the number and type of API calls, execution time of the function etc., the credit consumption varies.

Similarly, we have introduced a credits system for Circuits.

Credits system for Circuits in Zoho CRM

Similar to APIs and Functions, Circuits will also be metered using an edition-based credit system, where each transition in the circuit consumes one credit.

The following table gives you the details of the base credits and credits per user per month for every edition of CRM.

Based on your edition, you can utilize the credits from the maximum available credits at no extra cost.

Note

Circuit credits and function credits are independent of each other. If your circuit uses functions, function credits as well as circuit credits will be consumed.

The Pay-as-you-go model

Since the credits are metered in a 24-hour rolling window, when you exhaust your credits, you must wait until the credits are freed up in the next window.

To overcome this hassle, and to keep your business processes running smoothly, we have introduced the Pay-as-you-go model for Circuits. When you exhaust your free credits, you can add more credits and continue using Circuits.

When you know a requirement is coming up that will need credits more than what is available, you can add credits from the dashboard, beforehand, and consume them at an extra cost.

With the pay-as-you-go model, you need not pay for all the extra credits you have added. You will pay only for the credits you have consumed.

The following table gives you the tariff for different ranges of extra credits.

Consider that you are on the Enterprise edition and have exhausted your free credits. If your estimate for the month is an extra 50,000 credits, and you consume only 40,000 credits, you will only be paying for the 40,000 credits you consumed in the next billing cycle, which is $3.25[(25,000x0.0001)+(15,000x0.00005)].
