Controlling page breaks for tables in Zoho Writer

Controlling page breaks for tables in Zoho Writer

Hey Zoho Writer community,

Today, we want to share a nifty feature that some of you may not be aware of: the Allow row/table to break across pages option in Zoho Writer.

What does it do?
By default, this option is enabled, meaning your rows and tables can span across pages. However, there might be instances where you need to keep your content more visually cohesive on the screen or find it more aesthetically pleasing to prevent those breaks.
Fear not, Zoho Writer has your back!

Why might this feature be useful?
Imagine you've crafted an intricate table of contents (TOC) for your document to guide your readers through its sections, and you don't want this information to be fragmented. Disable the page break for this table, and voila—your TOC retains its visual clarity.

For another example, your document may have nested tables, each containing distinct information. Enabling page breaks for these tables ensures that each nested section gets its own dedicated space to prevent confusion.

How do you use it?
Here's a quick guide on how to control page breaks for rows and tables.

Give it a try, and let us know how it works for you! Feel free to share your experiences or ask questions by emailing us at support@zohowriter.com.

Happy writing!
