Creating tasks and lists within milestone date parameters

Creating tasks and lists within milestone date parameters

I am organising a project by creating the milestones first, moving them around until correct in the Gantt view, then creating task lists and tasks in each milestone.

However I can create tasks in a milestone that are outside of the date range of that milestone?

I would have thought the system would not allow this?

Is there a better way of doing it?
