Documents in Zoho Projects - New UI , just for you !!!

Our Documents UI has undergone a beautiful makeover to give you a great visual appeal. You have been managing documents with so much of ease in Zoho Projects, till date. What if we say, it's going to be easier than before? More time-saving than before? And above all, more user-friendly than before?

If you are a passionate Windows user, and you were missing right-clicks in managing documents in Zoho Projects, then this news is for you!!!.

The new Documents UI lets you do the file and folder operations just upon right-click like how you do on a Windows machine. It's as easy as that.

Choose the view that suits you

You can set your preferences for the type of files (i.e. documents , spreadsheets, presentations, PDF, images, etc.,) that you would like to view when you land on your Documents tab in Zoho Projects. You can also choose between List and Thumbnail views for the selected document types accordingly.

Be a know-it-all, in one go !

The Show Info option helps you explore on various attributes of the file in one click.

In the above screenshot, you can see five different iconized tabs that hold five different perspectives of information about the file.

Icon Name	Purpose
Comments	Add or view comments
General Info	Know the details of the document owner, type and permalink for the file.
Document revisions	Know the latest version of the file along with the previous revision details.
Timeline	Know the happenings of the file since its creation.
Access stats	Know the number of views, downloads, comments, and edits your document has got.

Zoho Projects now generates a unique number for each project, task, and issue added. The auto-generated ID is a combination of a prefix and a number which is assigned by Zoho Projects. Task Inline Editing Enhancement
Hi All, Today, we have made an enhancement in task inline editing. In 4.0, task edit is moved in a single screen in a pop-up. We designed this in-order to make the task edit across the product to be the same. Let it be in Feeds, Tasks & My Tasks tab, Calendar & My Calendar tab, a click on the task title will open the popup and user can edit the values. Customers pointed us the inline editing was very useful to them & how much they miss that in 4.0. Based on the feedback, we have rolled out this enhancement.
