Error trying to add a task to a project in Gmail

Error trying to add a task to a project in Gmail

When I try to add a task from gmail, I get the following error.

"No Project Portals created for your domain. Click  here  to proceed further"

When I click on "here", I get the following error:

"You do not have permission to access Zoho Projects

  • You are using an older version of Zoho Projects which is currently outdated. Please try re-installing Zoho Projects from Google Apps Marketplace."
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the projects google app with no change.

I "think" it might have something to do with the way that I started my free projects subscription.

I started my CRM trial from the zoho projects page and clicking "Sign Up Now" https ://www.zoho.com/crm/lp/signup.html

I started my PROJECTS trial from the zoho projects page and clicking Sign Up Now":   https://www.zoho.com/projects/ 

I should also say that I can use Projects from the customer portal just fine.
