Fetching data and updating data

I have a form called My_Info that has a field called Validation_Credits. Now I want that whenever I successfully submit another form called Customer_Details the field value Validation_Credits in the form My_Info deducts 1 and updates the value. So if the initial value in the field was 10 it would now be 9.
