File Sharing in Zoho Docs

Zoho Docs provides an easy, reliable and secure way to share files. It acts as a centralized repository, where you can upload and store all your documents and share with users in your Organization.

The different way of sharing documents in Zoho Docs,

1. Private Sharing: You can share files privately with an individual, by entering the  Zoho ID/email address  and assigning permissions (Viewer/ Collaborator/ Co-Owner) to the recipients.

2. Group Sharing: You can share documents to 'Group Members', which allows group members to work and collaborate in real-time.

3. Workspace: Workspace is an advanced way of file sharing and provides a collaborative environment for all workspace members. It is like sharing folder, you can share files easily by inviting others to view or edit files based on permissions(Viewer/Collaborator) set by the workspace owner.









4. Share Externally: Using 'Share Externally' feature you can share documents with password-protected download link to non-zoho users (external clients). Shared users can download the document using the download link and with the password assigned by the owner of the document.

        With Zoho Docs 3.0, you can now publish you documents and make it available to the whole world. Once you publish your documents you get a URL that you can share with anyone, by posting it in a website a blog or even social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. To publish any of your documents, just follow these steps: Right click on the document you want to publish From the drop down menu, select Properties In the pop-up window you will see a Make this document public option.
