Filter a Customer-Portal report

Filter a Customer-Portal report

I have a customer portal with a report, where the report is based on a form containing records referencing the customers. I want to filter the report so each customer will only see the records relevant to him (the records with the same email as the logged customer).
How can I do that?

I know it is possible by embedding the report as an HTML and then filtering, but looking for a better way.
