Filter a Zoho Creator main report by a field and display other related reports in sections on a Zoho Creator page

Hi,

How can I filter a Zoho Creator main report by a field and display other related reports in sections on a Zoho Creator page?

Part of what I was given below is setting up sub-reports, but the subform field prompted me to link a form, not a report.

Create Related Reports (Sub-Reports)

If you want to display related reports (for example, related to the records in the main report), you can use Subform fields or Lookup fields to link reports. After that, you can filter these related reports dynamically.

Steps to create related reports:

  1. Identify the relationship between your main report and related reports. For example, if you're managing orders and invoices, your main report might be the “Orders” report, and the related report would be the “Invoices” report, linked by the Order ID.
  2. In the Main Report (Form), you can add a Subform or a Lookup field that links to the related report.
    • Subform: If you want to show detailed records (like all invoices related to an order).
    • Lookup: If you want to fetch a specific related value (like customer name or status from another report).
