Filtering option by subform fields?

I have created a custom module where I have done two test implementations in the layout to experiment with input values. See the attached screenshots.

Method 1 was creating a few pick lists (in the section called "IRL values"),

and method 2 was using a subform (IRL values impl 2). Layout view below:

This custom module is connected with the Accounts module.

I noticed that when I want to customise the view in an Account detailed view (see below), I am not able to select the fields implemented in the subform method (see second screenshot above).

Is there a way to solve this so that I can select them the same way as Method 1?
