Google contact sync not working

There are 3 of us in our organisation, and we want to use the Google contact sync to keep our contacts between google apps and Zoho in sync.
One of our organisation has been able to sync contacts fine through the google contact sync option, however the rest of us have been left out in the cold.
The sync is set up the same for all users - A daily 2-way sync with Zoho winning, of all contacts.
Is there any way to see what is going wrong, or where the confusion is coming in.
Currently all contacts have the owner of the person who's import has worked - is that the issue?
I am struggling to find any documentation about the sync.
