Google Contacts and Calendar Integration Development - where we stand ...

This is to update you all that, we are working for the Google Contacts and Calendar Integration and below are the current status of the development.

Google Contacts
We are trying to provide the below mentioned options in Contacts Sync
i) Pushing contacts from Zoho CRM to Google alone
ii) Pulling contacts from Google to Zoho CRM alone
iii) Syncing the contacts between Google and Zoho CRM

Contacts to be Synced can be decided based on any one of the Custom View from Contacts Module of Zoho CRM and particular contacts group from Google side. Each user can have their own configuration with the field mapping ( Zoho CRM & Google fields even with custom fields) and during first time EMAIL ADDRESS will be used for finding matching contacts between two service and for further sync, there would be a reference for each contact in our database and based on that further sync would happen. We are in the finishing stage of the development and tentatively Contacts Sync release would happen in another 4 weeks of time. We will update you all here, if there is any unexpected or unforeseen delays.

Google Calendar
This will have two phases of development and release. In the phase 1, we will be giving one way integration i.e you can push the Events to Google or vice versa and there will not be any Sync operation for Calendar in the first phase of release. Here also, you can select a Custom View to filter the Events to be pushed to Google.

Phase II - We will start working for Syncing the Zoho CRM Events and Google Calendar once the phase 1 is rolled out. Tentatively, phase-I release would happen in another 4 weeks of time. We understand the critical need for having the Sync between Zoho CRM and Google Calendar and it is in our top of development with HIGH PRIORITY.

FYI, Zoho CRM Enterprise users alone can avail Google Integration for Contacts and Calendar.
