HELP: Cannot delete task AFTER checking "Stop this page from being created" on popup window

I have never had a problem creating tasks for the past 4 years - however, just now it stopped working after I checked a box in the pop-up window.

What used to happen

I clicked on the trashcan icon of a task and I used to get a pop-up which I routinely used to click on saying "OK" and delete worked perfectly

What I did today around 5:30am US Eastern

Since I had a lot of tasks to delete, I checked the box that said "Prevent this page from being created" or something simliar.

What happened after that

Since then, I have tried deleting tasks and while it took away the pop-up it seemed to have taken away my ability to delete tasks.

What is the best way to get the delete feature back - with or without the popup?

Hi All, Today, we have made an enhancement in task inline editing. In 4.0, task edit is moved in a single screen in a pop-up. We designed this in-order to make the task edit across the product to be the same. Let it be in Feeds, Tasks & My Tasks tab, Calendar & My Calendar tab, a click on the task title will open the popup and user can edit the values. Customers pointed us the inline editing was very useful to them & how much they miss that in 4.0. Based on the feedback, we have rolled out this enhancement.
