How can i remove read only access to the Excel file?

How can i remove read only access to the Excel file?

I have implemented  zoho editor. Modifying word files are working fine .
But for excel, its showing read-only. So i am not able to modify the files .

I gave full permission to the file in server . But still i am not able to configure it..


So how can i remove read-only access?

How can i give read-only permission for certain files based on user roles?
