Hi all!

I am experiencing a problem with the conditional formatting. I am building functionality into my sheet which has dates in columns, however the dates have been created via a formula such as TODAY(). 

The way it is supposed to work is that when certain dates are reached as time goes by, the fields are supposed to change from green to orange to red. This would be fine under conditional formatting if the date was in the field, but the problem is that the formula is in the field, so it is not registering the fact that the date meets the conditions for the formatting.

How do I fix this? I know in MS Excel it recognises the date automatically
