How to Maintain/Update List prices ??

Hello,

Following multiple research and mail to ZOHO team I wanted to share my experience and my huge surprise toward List prices.... and find out if anyone has a work around ??

Indeed, I am very much surprise that ZOHO CRM allow the Unit price to be updated by mean of Excel import file but not the List price...

So if you have 500 products, which by the way is not big at all, you update you unit price (cost price/buying price) so far so good but you cannot update your selling price... !! What ??? O_o

ZOHO TEAM : How do you expect your customer to spend endless time updating their selling prices (list price) one by one ???? are you serious ???

As I said at the beginning, I have search in this forum some post related to this problem, I have found some that date from over 2 years !!

And guess what... they got the same answer (when they actually got an answer at all) that I got few days ago from ZOHO Team such as :

"Although we currently don’t have that option, we’ve forwarded your suggestion to our development team for review. They will evaluate it for the possibility of including in a future update.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. What we learn from you will make a difference, as we continually strive to improve our applications, systems and support.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if we can be of further assistance."

So I am wondering, it is a policy of ZOHO not to communicate on any release date of new features for whatever reason, which I can somehow understand. But... seeing some messages requiring this feature (BASIC ONE) dating for over 2 years and reading that they got similar answer from you and yet this feature is not available after two years !!! you see what I mean...

Maybe ZOHO wants to leave the inventory module this way with no update to push to buy ZOHO INVOICE ???

I don't know... since I am trying to understand why they don't update this basic function...

When I say basic, I mean no need to rethink the price book, just add another field and let this field to be available for import and be present on inventory module.

When configuring our template we can then called the Price book function (list price) or call the new custom field.

Anyway, maybe I am missing something here and got it all wrong, in that case I do apologize !

Despite this message, I do think that ZOHO is a great tool to work with considering the CRM side !

In the opposite, does anyone have a work around ??? I cannot believe that everybody update their selling price one by one...
