I would like to request a new feature or setting for SalesIQ.
Currently, when a user opens our contact widget and clicks on the "Chat with us" option, it opens a standard chat window that remains empty until either the user types a message or an agent connects.
We would like to have the ability to configure SalesIQ so that the Zobot launches automatically and starts the conversation as soon as the user clicks the 'Chat with us' button. This would help us engage with users instantly, without waiting for their initial input.
I am aware that the Zobot can be configured to trigger as soon as the user clicks or maximizes the floating widget. However, using that configuration skips the initial menu, which removes the user's ability to select their preferred contact channel (like WhatsApp or Email). We want to keep this multi-channel menu available, but have the Zobot initiate the conversation automatically only when they specifically choose the chat option.
I have attached an image illustrating the current behavior and our desired request for a better understanding. Is this something that could be implemented?
