Dear Zoho Analytics users,

Facebook have deprecated the below set of metrics from the Facebook Pages Insights API. As a result, these changes will impact the reports and dashboards created in Zoho Analytics using Facebook Pages data.

To align with the changes, we are updating the APIs on our end.

The following metrics are deprecated in Facebook.  

General Insights

• Video Views Unique

Post Insights

• Video Views Unique

• Video Views Organic Unique

• Video Views Paid Unique
  

Changes in Analytics :  

New Facebook Pages Integrations

• When you set up a new Facebook Pages integration in Zoho Analytics, the deprecated metrics will not be listed or available for selection.
  
  

 Existing Facebook Pages Integrations 

• For existing setups, the deprecated metric columns will continue to exist in your Zoho Analytics workspace.

• However, these columns will be imported as empty data during subsequent syncs (i.e., no new values will be fetched from Facebook).

• Your existing historical data (if any) will remain intact.
  
  

 Editing an Existing Setup  

• If you edit the setup for an existing Facebook Pages integration and save it:

• The deprecated metrics will be removed automatically from the configuration.

• If there are any reports or dashboards that depend on these deprecated columns:
  
  They will be listed in a PreAlert dialog during Edit Setup, so you can see which reports will be affected.  You can edit the respective reports and remove the deprecated fields or delete the reports to save the configuration.
  

We recommend reviewing your existing Facebook Pages reports in Zoho Analytics and identifying any dependency on the above metrics before editing your integration setup.
