Insert Quote and Code Functions in Notebook

Hello, I am currently a long time Evernote user currently evaluating Notebook. I have migrated all notes over and am trying to create a workflow based on Notebooks functions. I have searched for and been unable to find any information about what the insert code and insert quote functions on a text note do. Is there any information available concerning how and when these are used?
