Integrate Zoho SalesIQ with new social network

Hi Zoho,

Currently, Zoho SalesIQ supported chat in Facebook Messenger. I need to use SalesIQ on other social platform that haven't been built in Zoho SalesIQ. Like users chat on my social platform, we will forward conversation to SalesIQ to get the response of the bot (automation bot setting in SalesIQ).

I found Zoho support integration by Rest API https://www.zoho.com/salesiq/help/developer-section/rest-api-v2.html, having some concerns with this approach:

Does Zoho SalesIQ open the websocket channel to integrate with other platform? Because calling API for chatting I don't think it's the best practice way.
Does Zoho SalesIQ limit the request to API?
