Issue with 'Item search' when adding an order

Hi,

I'm having issues with searching for an item when preparing a Sales Order, both from the web or the app.

I have a big list of items, whose names are in the format: ABC|EFG|583|PQR.

When trying to add a 'Line Item', i search for, e.g., EFG.

But it doesn't show any results.

The search shows results only for queries matching the item name alphabetically, from the start, e.g. A or AB or ABC etc..

That seems like an impossible way to search for items from a big list.

I don't know whether this is a feature or a bug.

Would be great if someone can advise me on this!
