Items Landed Cost and Profit?
Hello, we recently went live with Zoho Inventory, and I have a question about the Landed Cost feature.
The
FAQ reads:
"Tracking the landed cost helps determine the overall cost incurred in procuring the product. This, in turn, helps you to decide the selling price for your stock without compromising your profits."
After entering the landed costs in the PO Bill, I'm not seeing this flow to the Item. When looking at the Inventory Item, where is the landed cost information displayed so that we can better decide our selling price for targeted profit?
On the note of not compromising profits, why are there no fields in Items for targeted profit margin and actual profit margin? And when editing Estimates, Sales Orders, and Invoices why is the total order cost and profit not displayed anywhere? Yes, not compromising profits if important but why are profits hidden at the Item level, estimate level, sales order level, and invoice level?
Any help is appreciated.
