Jira - Zoho Desk Integration: Allow for Flexible User Attribution
Dear Zoho Desk Support Team,
We are writing to request an enhancement to the Jira integration within Zoho Desk. Currently, comments added to Zoho Desk tickets from Jira are automatically attributed to the user who created the integration. This can be cumbersome, especially when this is an active account that is used for daily operations and should not be associated with tickets unrelated to the user.
Proposed Solutions:
- User Selection: Allow administrators to select via the integration settings section the specific user whose name should be associated with Jira comments added to Zoho Desk.
- System-Level Configuration: A better solution is to implement a system-level service that will do the update regardless to any specific user.
By implementing these enhancements, Zoho Desk can provide a more flexible and user-friendly integration with Jira, improving collaboration and communication between teams.
