Live Chat load time issue

Hi, My developers have loaded Zoho live chat onto my custom PHP site which has slowed the load time of my site to almost 5 seconds from 2 seconds. Can anyone suggest how to solve this, the product is excellent and having used many Zoho products I can't imagine this is a Zoho issue, most likely my developers. Thanks, Matt
