Releasing LiveDesk plugin for your Joomla! - powered website. Chat with your visitors proactively, walk them through your website, guide them effectively to make a decision and turn them into a customer.
Easy Installation
- Download the LiveDesk plugin from here.
- Log on to your Joomla! Administration panel.
- Access “Extension Manager” and click “Install”.
- Choose “Upload Package File”.
- Upload the downloaded extension.
- Access “Plugin Manager”, under “Extensions” tab and search for “LiveDesk”. Select the plugin and click "enable".
- Search for “LiveDesk”, tick the checkbox that appears next to the plugin then click on the “Edit” tab above.
- Select “Zoho LiveDesk Settings”.
- Paste your LiveDesk Float chat widget code.
You will be provided with three options to customize.
- Chat Window enabled – This configuration allows you to handle the visibility of chat bubble in your Joomla! site.
- Hide for mobile – This configuration allows you to handle the visibility of chat bubble in your Joomla! site when accessed from mobiles devices.
- Hide for tablet - This configuration allows you to handle the visibility of chat bubble in your Joomla! site when accessed from tablets. Click "Save" to confirm your changes.

Getting your LiveDesk Code Snippet
- Login to your LiveDesk Operator console.
- Click "Settings".
- In the "Web Embed" section, click on the name of the Embed you are attempting to include in a page.
- Scroll down to the "Button Appearance" section and choose "Float window".
- Select the code snippet below and copy.

As of now, only the ‘Float chat’ is supported in this extension.
