Making digital signatures accessible to all: Introducing accessibility controls in Zoho Sign

Hi there!

At Zoho Sign, we are committed to building an inclusive digital experience for all our users. As part of our ongoing efforts to align with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), we’re updating the application with support that will go live next week:
  • Reading mask: Focuses your attention one line at a time for improved readability.
  • Keyboard accessibility: Landmark-based navigation allows you to navigate every part of Zoho Sign without a mouse, with and the focus ring visually highlights selected elements for easier keyboard navigation.
  • Font size and type options: Allows you to choose the font size and type options that are comfortable for your eyes.
  • Zoom support: Lets you navigate interface elements with clarity.
  • Labels to improve accessibility: Using labels, especially ON and OFF, clearly indicates which toggles are active and which are not, particularly for users who need more than just color changes or icons.
  • Text enhancer: Gives you bolder, sharper text for enhanced legibility.
  • Improved contrast ratios: Provides better visibility across the application.
  • Assistive technology support: Enhances compatibility with screen readers.
  • Disabled button strikethrough: Clearly shows which actions are unavailable.
  • Underlined Links: Ensures the texts with links are visually distinguishable from the surrounding texts.
  • Alt text: Provides descriptive alt text for non-text content.
Theme selection
As a part of this update, we are also introducing new color themes that are compatible with WCAG AA contrast standards. Theme selection will be available in the accessibility settings. Zoho Sign's default theme color will also change from green to blue—but don't worry, you can switch theme colors at any time!

This update is one of many steps we're taking toward making Zoho Sign more accessible and inclusive. Thank you for growing with us!
